Restoring Data with Vaulten

To Restore Partial Data
Vaulten’s On-Demand Data Recovery helps you select just a single file, folder or a section of your computer like ‘My Documents’ or ‘Desktop’ to be restored anytime on any machine. This way you need not restore the whole batch of data that was backed up but just those files that you need for the moment. Here, not only you can select a different location for the data to be restored, but also an older version of the file to be restored.
To Restore Full Data
In case of a complete system loss or if you wish to restore all your data to a new computer then just follow these steps:
- Download and install the Vaulten Program to the computer where you wish to restore the data to. This is the same program that you have been using till now and is available here.
- Once initialised the program will ask you if you are an 'Existing User' and click on it to login with your existing credentials.
- Select the ‘Restore’ button and just choose the files, folders or entire drive to be restored as it is. That’s it! All your files will start the restoration process in its original form.
